For small water chiller air conditioning systems, often do not set the reservoir, but the use of the condenser to regulate and store the refrigerant.

Drying filter: to prevent the cold water heater freezing cycle of moisture and dirt (oil, iron, copper) and other inflow. The source of moisture in the air-cooled chiller is mainly the trace moisture contained in the newly added refrigerant and lubricating oil, or the moisture generated by air entry during system maintenance. If the moisture in the system is not clean, when the refrigerant passes through the throttle valve (thermal expansion valve or capillary tube), the pressure and temperature drop will sometimes condense the moisture into ice, block the channel, and affect the normal operation of the cooling device. Therefore, it is necessary to install a dry filter in the cooling system of the chiller.

Evaporator: The evaporator is a heat transfer device that relies on the evaporation of the coolant liquid (actually boiling) to absorb the heat of the cooling medium. The function of the cooling system is to absorb heat (or output cold). In order to make the evaporation process stable and lasting, it is necessary to continue to pump out the gas evaporated into the refrigeration compressor and maintain a certain evaporation pressure.

Thermal expansion valve: The thermal expansion valve is the flow regulating valve in the cooling system of the cold water heater and the throttle valve in the cooling equipment. It is installed between the drying filter and the evaporator in the cooling equipment, and the temperature package is enclosed in the outlet of the evaporator. Its main function is to reduce the pressure when the high-pressure and normal-temperature refrigerant liquid passes through the thermal expansion valve, so that the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigeration and dehumidification steam (mostly liquid, a small part is steam) enters the evaporator and evaporates in the evaporator to absorb and cool the heat.
